2010 Joint Spouses’ Conference Child Care
Complimentary child care is available on the day of the Conference on a limited, space-available basis for children ages 1 to 10 years of all branches of the military. Spouses whose military sponsor is deployed or off-island due to military work commitments on the Conference date (October 23) will be given child care on a first-come, first-serve basis until all slots are filled.
The Joint Spouses’ Conference (JSC) Committee is working in conjunction with the Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kupulau Child Development Center to provide the child care on their site at 611 Cushman Ave.
Child care will be available on October 23rd, 2010 from 7:30 am – 6:00pm.
Things to note:
· Meals (breakfast, lunch, snack) will be provided for all children above the age of 14 months
· Parents of infants (6 weeks – 14 months) will need to provide meals/formula for their children
· Parents should provide diapers and wipes if their child requires them
· All children need to wear appropriate clothing including closed-toe shoes
FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO REGISTER FOR JSC CHILD CARE
1. REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE AND SUBMIT PAYMENT via credit card on this website. Registration is open from 1 – 25 September
2. Download and print the 2-page registration form for FREE Conference Child care (via this website beginning September 1)
3. Scan and email your completed form and a copy of your spouse’s military orders to: childcare@jschawaii.com

4. Once the Child Care Registration Form is received, you will be notified whether space is available for your child(ren). Child care will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on receipt of emails and postmarks. You will be contacted NLT October 1st via e-mail or phone regarding your request for child care.
Remember – Conference Registration must be completed BEFORE applying for child care.
*As much as we would like to provide for everyone, child care is not guaranteed. Free child care is limited and available at the facility mentioned above. Please be ready to make alternate child care plans if space limitations do not allow us to accommodate your child(ren).
